William Arechiga, CFA, is a Senior Managing Director with First Foundation Advisors. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Arechiga was Senior Vice President with City National Bank's Private Bank in Los Angeles, and he was a Senior Investment Strategist with Wells Fargo's Private Bank in Chicago.
Mr. Arechiga is an alumnus of Wells Fargo's Investment Management Development Program, and before that, he worked at a boutique investment bank financing prisons through taxable municipal bonds.
Mr. Arechiga did his undergraduate work at the University of Southern California. He attended New York Law School and passed the bar in both New York and New Jersey. Additionally, he has an MBA from Southern Methodist University and passed all three levels of the CFA within eighteen months.
In his free time, Mr. Arechiga volunteers at Sandy Dog Rescue and Crusty Crew Animal Rescue. He also runs a book club and enjoys playing online chess with his friends in Chicago.
