Ms. Humphrey started with First Foundation as a Trust Officer in April 2019. She administers trusts and trust agencies for individuals, families, and non-profits. Lauren’s extensive legal1, private professional fiduciary background, and deep caring for people and their legacies result in clients’ enhanced peace of mind, quality of life and solid investment, taxation, charitable giving strategies and stewardship. Hallmarks of her commitment to clients’ best interests and sustainable relationship building include proactive communication, responsiveness, advanced issue spotting, and innovative problem solving culminating in deliverables and value to clients. She developed a sub-specialty navigating the multitude of bio-ethical and legal issues facing trustees and powers of attorney for health care.
Ms. Humphrey graduated from Rutgers College with a B.A. in Psychology and earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston. She is a member of the California and San Diego Bar Associations, Probate and Estate Planning Attorneys of San Diego, San Diego North County Estate Planning Council, Professional Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC) and is currently serving on the steering committee of Aging Life Care Association-San Diego Section. She is a past Vice President for the Professional Fiduciary Association of California, San Diego Region.
