Portfolio will consist of a determined allocation among equities including private investment funds, fixed income, and cash with a primary emphasis on income and a secondary emphasis on growth.

Objective

The Emphasis on Income Strategy is designed to emphasize current income while also achieving some future capital appreciation. Principal risk and fluctuation are expected and acceptable over the intended long-term investment time horizon, (at least 3 years). The Strategy seeks income through a determined allocation between equities, fixed income, real assets, alternative investments, and cash. When appropriate, tax-exempt bonds may be used to meet clients’ needs.

Philosophy

We take great care in being stewards of capital and providing our clients with investment management services to achieve their investment goals. Our process is driven by asset class valuations and focused on risk control, where “risk” is defined as a permanent loss of capital. We have an opportunistic and a contrarian investment philosophy, viewing “volatility” as an opportunity. Our disciplined, repeatable investment process seeks to achieve superior returns with below average risk.
