IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- First Foundation Inc. (NASDAQ: FFWM), a financial services company with two wholly-owned operating subsidiaries, First Foundation Advisors and First Foundation Bank, announced today its 2019 candidates for Pacific Coast Banking School (PCBS).
As part of its new tuition reimbursement program designed for employees interested in attending PCBS, First Foundation has selected two candidates to attend the highly-regarded executive leadership and financial management program. Michelle Li, a Director of Loan Production for the bank’s commercial real estate lending team, and Andres Melgar, a Branch Manager for the bank’s San Diego location, will join several other First Foundation team members who are already enrolled as students. Attendees who complete the program receive a graduate-level certificate in the Business of Banking from PCBS, as well as a Leadership Certificate from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. They will also have the opportunity to learn from some of First Foundation’s own executives, Rich Christensen and Lorrie Asker, who serve on the faculty.
“As a recent graduate of PCBS, I can attest to the amazing opportunity this is for our team to grow and learn,” said Lindsay Lawrence, EVP, Chief Operating Officer, First Foundation Bank. “I believe it was such a valuable experience to connect and share insights with students and faculty in our everchanging industry.”
First Foundation decided to partner with PCBS as it offers one of the strongest curriculums for those looking to advance their knowledge of the financial services industry, especially in banking.
